One day, trudging the lonely stretch of the highway, you noticed that something must have gone wrong with your car. Piqued by curiosity, you promptly checked it just like a duly-responsible owner. You checked your wheels and your car battery but found nothing wrong. A quick look at the underside of your car, you saw a leak coming from the radiator.

A leaking car radiator will most certainly result in the overheating of your car engine. To know that your radiator is empty, check you dashboard temperature gauge if its toward the ‘hot’ zone. If it is, your car needs water or coolant. If this does not solve the problem, then your car radiator most probably is leaking.

In case the temperature increases suddenly, the parts and gears of the engines will weaken due to the excessive heat. The overheating of the engine can also cause unwanted expansion of the components. While putting a steel seal to a radiator can stop the hole from leaking the coolant, there are also some procedures to follow to thoroughly fix this inconsistency on the part of your car.

In this procedure, you will only need a Philipp’s screwdriver for holding the wires and other connecting materials to the things and stainless steel wing seals. You must also anticipate a dirty work here as grease and oil will probably get to you. The steps must be strictly followed to ensure that all the leaks have been plugged or stopped.

First, read the coolant specifications on the radiator and search for the marks or signs on the engine compartment; however, if there are no coolant markings on the radiator or the engine, check your car’s operating manual. If you found the markings, take away the cap from the radiator and with the use of Philipp’s screwdriver, hold the radiator hose to the top. Afterwards, drag the radiator hose and prepare the stainless steel wing seals.

Then, apply the steel banding seals into the radiator and into the open end of the radiator hose. You can now put the radiator cap and link it to the radiator hose to the radiator. Twist the vehicle’s temperature power and turn it into high speed. Then shut off the automobile and let the allow the coolant to do its job.
